Hi, I’m Jamie, co-founder of Wonderfully Made Mama and Babe.
I’m a registered nurse, Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, currently working toward becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I’m also a mom, and my own journey through pregnancy and early motherhood inspired me to help other families feel supported, informed, and confident.
When I became a mom, I realized how challenging the early days of parenting could be — especially my breastfeeding journey. I often felt like I wasn’t getting enough support or guidance, and that experience made me passionate about creating change. I partnered with Fiona Thompson, a fellow childbirth educator, and together we founded Wonderfully Made Mama and Babe — a space where families can access evidence-based education, compassionate support, and personalized guidance throughout pregnancy, birth, and early parenting.
Becoming a parent is life-changing, and it should also be empowering and joyful. My mission is to walk alongside families with care, respect, and practical guidance, so every mother knows she is supported and confident in her choices.

Hi, I’m Fiona, co-founder of Wonderfully Made Mama and Babe.
Six years ago, when I was expecting my first baby, I had no idea just how much birth education and support would impact my journey into motherhood. The classes I took and the encouragement I received gave me strength and confidence I didn’t know I had. Instead of approaching birth with fear, I felt empowered to embrace this transformative season — and that changed everything for me.
But alongside that empowerment came a realization: not every woman has access to the same support or even knows all the options available to them in pregnancy and birth. That realization lit a fire in me to be a voice in my community — to help other women feel seen, heard, and fully informed as they step into motherhood.
Today, through Wonderfully Made Mama and Babe, I get to put that passion into practice. As a birth educator I walk alongside families with the same care, encouragement, and knowledge that once made such a difference in my own life. My hope is that every parent I work with feels supported, empowered, and reminded that they — and their baby — are wonderfully made.
